Challenger Deep is the middle movement of a work for flute and live electronics. On March 26, 2013 the Deapsea Challenger descended down Mariana Trench, to the deepest region of the ocean known to man, called Challenger Deep. This piece derives material for a multi-octave descent in pitch from reports of this expedition's depth over time.
